Free spirit ceremonies

I create beautiful and memorable funeral ceremonies, helping families say goodbye to their loved ones in a way that feels right, with care and compassion. Not limited by any traditional or religious boundaries, I work with you to create a ceremony or celebration of life that suits your family’s unique needs—whether it’s a crematorium service, cemetery burial, natural burial, ashes interment or scattering, or memorial service. You can even have the ceremony on the beach, by a lake, at home or in the countryside.

I also work directly with people who know that they are dying and their families, helping them to create their own ceremony, and giving support to them and the family in what can be a really difficult time, but one that can be full of love and a celebration of life.

I offer full event planning and can arrange for photographers, videographers, and dove or butterfly releases to enhance the experience. I work across the UK, but predominantly in South Wales and Southwest England.

Whatever you envision, I’m here to make it happen, and if you need inspiration, I have plenty of ideas to ensure this farewell is as special as it deserves to be. Reach out anytime; I’d love to help.

ABout Me

Hi, I’m James, and live in South Wales by the sea – beautiful! I love spending time with my family, am a son, husband, father and grandfather. I enjoy being outdoors, walking my dogs, in nature and away from the hustle and bustle of life.

I love gardening; the art of creating beautiful spaces, well-crafted and with plants being my passion. It takes a whole season to create, and then starts again – the rhythm of life.

I am a Reiki Master and teach meditation and mindfulness.

I create my own world, not driven by others – I love that – and is where my Celebrancy comes in. It really is my calling and enables me to do what I love and what I do best; caring for and giving to others and making a real difference to the families I work with.
